Personally Yours:
We are EXCITED! These classes include our innovative concept and
approach to personalizing your home. Years of experience and volumes
of information have been condensed to help you make your home as
unique as you! After determining your colors and decorating style,
we will guide you step by step on how to use them to achieve harmony
& balance in a single room or throughout your home. A three hour
taster class is presented as an introduction to other classes. Class
one is necessary before advancing to class two.

Your home is a reflection of you! Color is our most important tool
and each color has a personality. This three hour class provides an
introduction to ‘Personally Yours’.
Our presentation will provide insight to define your colors and
their effects in your home and embellishments. This class is an
introduction to discovering your personal colours and style.
Follow up classes will fine tune your selections and teach you how
to use them to personalize your home and achieve harmony and balance
in your special haven.

Class one:
Personally Yours
Defining your color and decorating style
Teacher: Vicki Rhodes
Gather samples of your favorite things, colours, Magazine pages,
photo’s clothes, fabric, furniture etc. Place them in your favorite
container and bring them to class! We will analyze your choices to
define your color and style personality. This information is crucial
in choosing everything from paint to fabric, furniture to curtains
and much more.
Our goal is working together to create a home as individual is you!
Class will include a notebook to gather and compile inspiration.
Personal palette colors will be available for purchase.

Class Two: Personally Yours
Creating Harmony and balance
Teacher: Vicki Rhodes
This class will be filled with information and inspiration from
start to finish! We will help you create a storyboard and color
audition page for a room in your home. Learn about color
combinations, proportions, and creating a mood or desired effect.
Let us help you create harmony and balance of colour and style in a
room or throughout your home!
Bring to class photos of a room and furniture, dimensions, and
samples for storyboard.

Furniture Revival
Instructor: Vicki Rhodes
Refresh, recycle, and refurbish! This class will even excite your
husband! Dig into the stack of treasures that we all have in the
basement or garage and find a potential masterpiece! OR find
something at places like Target or Walmart that the piece is
delightful but the finish does not match and complete a
transforMAGIC!
We provide everything you need for completing your project. Gather
inspiration and bring a photo for a consultation prior to class.
From simple finishes to stenciling or decorative art, this will only
be the start as the possibilities are endless. To allow time to
complete the piece you may attend one or both classes or additional
hours as needed.
Supply Fee includes everything you need to complete your project:
sand paper, prep products and paint to finish. Color selections must
be made prior to class.
NOTE: IF repair is required or if you are looking for a treasure for
a special place, we can help with that as well.

Not Miss Muffets Tuffet!
Teacher: Vicki Rhodes
A tuffet is unique twist taken to transform an average footstool
into a unique work of art! You will not want to miss this creative
adventure. Using the fabrics pieces from previous classes or fabric
you select, the transformation will amaze you. Beads, tassels and
other embellishments will delight your senses. Add a touch of whimsy
to any room with this project you won’t want to miss!

Creative Possibilities: Decorative Painting
Teacher: Vicki Rhodes
Addressing the current trends of the home décor market, Decorative
Painting has be reinvented and presented using a no fail dry brush
techniques. The format has been embraced worldwide by teachers and
students wanting to design one of a kind treasures for their home or
gifts. This updated technique uses limited supplies for an exciting
new concept for painting.

Crazy Patch
Teacher: Carolyn Allred
The concept of Crazy Quilting involves sewing pieces of different
fabrics together to create a one of a kind design. Learn the basics
of this delightful technique using your choice of fabrics.
Embellishing with snippets of ribbons, threads or beads are
optional. Completed fabric may be used for covering a lamp shade,
creating a bag, add wow to pants or covering a chair!
Follow up class to complete your creation.

Introduction to Paper Piecing
Teacher: Carolyn Allred
This class in an introduction to the simple art of Paper Piecing,
which uses the basic technique of Sew and Flip. This technique is
fast and versatile as the angles and width of the strips may be a
single or variety of widths for different effects. Use this method
to create a fabric foundation of any shape or size. Fabric choices
may be your or ours. Completed fabric may be used for anything from
a pillow to a tablecloth; whatever you choose!

Hearts Desire an Introduction to Appliqué
Teacher: Carolyn Allred
This is the perfect class to introduce you to the art of Appliqué to
create a simple pillow using bits of beautiful hand dyed wool. This
simple design will teach you the basic technique used to
embellishing anything your ‘hearts desire. Follow up class to
complete your creation. |

A unique presentation and sampling of several lettering styles. From
walls to scrap book pages, this class is a must. Lettering will be
completed on sample boards for reference following the class.

Step by step to add a transparent glaze of colour to your walls to
add or change a color or create a visual texture. Full of tips and
information, this class is a must! Finishes include an overall color
glaze or a strie' for a linen or denim effect. |

Introduction to Portraiture using Charcoal
Teacher: Pamela Hill
Choose your subject then join Pamela Hill for an introduction to
creating your own portraits in Charcoal. The grid method for
transferring your photo to the surface will be completed in a simple
to follow step by step format. Impress your family and friends with
your artistic ability! Paper surface, charcoal, and blending
supplies included in supply fee.
